Root rot of peas on the Canadian Prairies has been a growing concern over the last several years. While it’s caused by a number of organisms, one has garnered the most attention as the new kid on the block: aphanomyces.

Participants will learn:

  • How aphanomyces works and how to spot symptoms
  • What parts of the country are most affected
  • How breeders are actively working to create resistant pea varieties
