Syngenta, Golf Superintendents to Talk Turf Through New Partnership

The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and Syngenta Canada Inc. (Syngenta) are pleased to announce a new partnership that will see Syngenta become the exclusive sponsor of the 2018 Canadian Golf Course Management Conference (CGCMC) Education Program.

“We are pleased to extend our agreement with Syngenta, a long-time CGSA supporter,” said Jim Flett, AGS, CGSA President. “The Education Program would not be possible without the continued support of Syngenta and we thank them for their support which will enhance education opportunities available to our delegates.”

“Canada is home to some of the most skilled and diligent turf management professionals in the world and we are pleased to support their continued education as the exclusive sponsor of this first-class Education Program,” said David Kuypers, lawn and garden head for Syngenta in Canada. “In Canada, Syngenta remains committed to its mission of ‘Growing Golf through Science and Education’ and helping turf professionals face their ever-changing management challenges through education and innovative turf protection technology.”

The CGCMC will be held in Quebec City, Quebec from February 26, March 1,
2018 and will feature high level education sessions that will educate, intrigue and stimulate those in the turf management profession. The education program will focus on business and leadership topics and high level turf subjects. The CGCMC also offers Canada’s largest golf management trade show, hosted in a unique setting; excellent networking and social activities and all at the same price point as 2016.

The CGSA represents golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents, equipment technicians, and others involved in golf course management across Canada. CGSA was founded in 1966 and has over 1,000 members. Its mission is to promote excellence in golf course management and environmental responsibility through the continuing professional development of its members.
